  • 오이뮤의 두 번째 프로젝트, 에어 프로젝트입니다. 국내에서 오랫동안 향을 만들며 천연 향의 명맥을 유지해오던 전통 향방과 협업합니다. 의식과 생활에서 매우 다양한 형태로 자리잡아 오던 향 문화는 일제강점기, 6.25 전쟁 등 외세의 수난 속에 문화적 유실을 겪었습니다. 결국 오늘날 향은 절에서나 제사 때 쓰이는 의례적인 물건으로 퇴락했지만, 과거에는 향을 나누는 모임인 '향회'나 향을 즐기는 방법을 연구하는 '향도'라는 문화가 있었습니다. 에어 프로젝트를 통해 단절되었던 전통 향의 생활문화를 다시 알리고, 좋은 향이 공유되고 있는 아름다운 풍경을 연출해 줍니다.
  • The second project of OIMU, Air project. We work with the traditional incense factory that have been maintaining a natural incense for a long time in Korea. The incense culture that has been put into various forms in ceremony and life has suffered cultural loss in foreign affairs such as the Japanese colonial period and the 6.25 war. In the end, today, incense has fallen into decay used in temples and memorial services, but in the past there was a culture called 'the incense ceremony', which was a way of enjoying the incense-society or incense. Through the Air Project, we announce the traditional culture of the incense and create beautiful scenery where good fragrance is shared.
